WORKSHOPS IN DESIGNING AND ASSEMBLING LIGHTWIRE ART
Light ’N Wire Productions presents a series of hands-on workshops that teach the basics of designing with Lightwire. The basic class incorporates the techniques of soldering to attach Lightwire to lead wire and drivers allowing students to make complete, ready-to-use Lightwire accessories.
Currently, both workshops are held at the Crucible instructional center in Oakland, California. Each workshop class is a one-day, four-hour session. Students receive a complete work kit, instructions and guidance in learning the basic techniques of Lightwire assembly.
Intermediate Lightwire Workshop
For dates of next class, class availability and registration fees:

An introduction to basic Lightwire soldering techniques. |

Learn how to attach Lightwire to drivers and assemble Lightwire into serial and parallel configurations. |

Discuss techniques for applying Lightwire to costumes, props and art. |
Beginner Lightwire Work Kit

Prerequisite:
Handy with tools and have an interest in electrically illuminated décor.

INTERMEDIATE LIGHTWIRE WORKSHOP

Learn techniques for simple effects, spectacular effects, and an introduction to animation. |

Basic Lightwire work shop or previous soldering experience.
